OUR STORY
The Origin
ZOFIRA"One scarf. No compromise. No apology."
ZOFIRA was built by one person who grew up believing that beautiful things — objects made from real materials, with real intention — should simply exist. Not as inherited privilege. Not as a brand exercise. As a decision.
No fashion house. No heritage. No shortcuts.
Just the conviction that if something this considered doesn't exist yet, you build it yourself.
On the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, where winter drops to −40°, the Hircus goat grows a coat unlike anything else on earth. Not by design, but by necessity. The finest natural fibre ever known — produced by an animal simply trying to survive.
Grade-A cashmere is a designation most brands quietly avoid. The fibre is finer, rarer, and more expensive to source. Ethically harvested from herders who have worked these grasslands for generations — we chose it anyway. Because the difference between Grade-A and everything else is the difference between something that lasts decades and something that pills in a season.
ZOFIRA makes one thing. The Cashmere Scarf. Three colours. Thirty pieces. No collection. No season. An object designed to outlive the year it was bought — and numbered to prove it.
We believe the most sustainable thing a wardrobe can contain is something you never want to replace.
